The condo that I'm currently staying in is beautiful & cozy. Not only does it have a full range stove & refrigerator/freezer it also has a washer & dryer. The unit is quite spacious with an ok view of the garden area & parking structure below. Within walking distance to the shops, restaurants & bank's up the street & the city bus stop around the corner.
Room was nice, big and clean. Washer and Dryer was an absolute plus.
One pool, no onsite restaurants or bars onsite. I think every resort should have those. Small beach, we really did not spend hardly anytime in hotel, because there was not really anything to entice you to keep you there.
They will charge you fake junk fees the moment you arrive before giving you your keys even if you paid for your accommodation.
They charged us $330 USD+ at the reception before giving us our keys when we were weary and exhausted after a 10+ hour travel. Could not even get in the room we booked before forcing to pay this "mandatory cleaning" fee. Avoid.
Not the cleanest. Daily housekeeping is not included, and you’ll be charged about $200-300 for cleaning AFTER you leave (like a resort fee).
The bed was pretty comfortable, we liked the fully equipped kitchen and full sized fridge. The air conditioner worked great, sometimes too great, and the large screen door leading to the patio was spacious and enjoyable to use.
Be mindful of towels, they are not included for replacement in housekeeping fees. You will be charged for extra towels or if you want more. You are NOT charged for coffee and laundry detergent, so you can wash your clothes and towels as much as you need to.
Beach access is at your own risk, but it’s still beautiful here. The ocean view on the top floors is great, we were lucky. We saw a ton of turtles from our patio in the mornings.
They upgraded me and my mother to a one room free which was really nice of them. The guy concierge that is normally there is super helpful and has lived here for 20 years so knows the island. Location is by many good places if you want to snorkel and know where to go. Rooms are really nice because they have a kitchen so you can cook and they have a clothing washer and dryer. The view is great on the ocean view rooms. No cleaning service and there is a parking fee but we don’t like the maids coming in at 7 or 8 in the morning anyway and no where is free parking in Hawaii
Fantastic location. Very convenient access to the beach. Studios were large and came with kitchen (range, oven, mw), full-size refrigerator and utensils and cutlery, washer, dryer. Heated pool which was kept clean. Bbq grills were open for use close to the pool. Room service comes at a price and on request only. There is a mandatory cleaning fee which is a bit steep in my opinion. There is no food but they provide complimentary coffee in the morning (6-9 am), and there is a small shack near the pool which serves fruit salads and cocktails.
Found this condo via AirBnB that was hosted by Carol St. John who was phenomenal in every way.
Our family was in LOVE from the moment we walked in, especially my parents who were celebrating their 50th anniversary. The property itself is dated in a few areas, but the condo itself was recently renovated with updated furnishings and was absolutely perfect for our family of 4 adults and 1 teenager. It had 2 bedrooms, 2 full bathrooms and 1 powder room, kitchen with dishwasher and many amenities, washer/dryer, but the best part was the 270-degree lanai that had breathtaking unobstructed sunset views of the ocean and nearby islands. Each day we saw rainbows and sea turtles swimming by and early one morning we even saw one sleeping on shore head back back out into the ocean. The beach was smaller, yet quiet and serene. Not many people swimming which I actually loved because it was more peaceful. There are sandbags that line the beach to protect the shore but that didn’t bother me as it may others. The pool was a decent size and family friendly. They have a spot where you can get mocktails and shaved iced, which was nice. Overall, it swas a beautiful place to stay, especially compared to our other stay on Maui in Kihei. I preferred this area of Maui compared to others. I cannot wait to return!
Tip: If you’re arriving late in the evening after 9pm, please note that you may have a hard time finding a parking spot, but the property attendant will help you find parking as best as they can.
